The alumni association of The Sankara Nethralaya Academy (TSNAAA) and Sankara Nethralaya Kolkata (SNKAA) is a national non-profit organisation, composed of alumni members from both TSNA and SNK since inception. The mission of the alumni association is to preserve and carry forward the fine traditions and legacy of the parent institution Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai. to strengthen the connection between the alumni at home and abroad, to develop, upgrade and expand the academic pursuits with a missionary spirit and life-long commitment in the larger interest of the healthcare profession and the community with social consciousness and accountability.

Sankara Nethralaya, Kolkata (SNK) established in 2005 and The Sankara Nethralaya Academy (TSNA), established in 2010, have alumni spread across India and many parts of the world, they play an important role in social development, national rejuvenation and path breaking innovative undertakings pertaining their respective profession, community and society at large.

The great achievements they make have gained high reputation for their alma mater. To strengthen the co-operation between alumni at home and abroad, as well as alumni and alma mater, the alumni association has been established.

The Association serves the alumni, carrying out a variety of activities and serve as a platform for exchange of ideas, thoughts and experiences. It strengthens ties between alumni and alma mater, providing opportunities for co-operation and communication for the mutual benefit of alumni and alma mater.
