Silmo Essilor Trust, Bangalore and Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai have signed an agreement on 2005 to jointly develop and implement a Distance Learning Program (DLP) aimed mainly at the sales personnel employed in the carious optical outlets in India to help them to improve their dispensing capability and the overall quality of the dispensing standards in the country.

Objective:

To improve the technical knowledge in optical sales

To enhance their knowledge in specific aspects of the eye like Refractive errors, Types of lenses, Optical selling and frames, etc

An open session to clarify their doubts for better performance

Duration	9 Months
Course Fee	Rs. 3000/- + Service Tax (12.36%)
Frequency	Once in a year
